Banana Choco Chip Muffin Recipe - 

Hello all of you. I love to make muffins and cupcakes. They are easy  to make and eat. They need a handful of ingredients and get baked in a few minutes. They also make up for a nice gift. You can gift your relatives, friends, colleagues etc with a box full of homemade muffins. 

So yesterday I tried making Banana Choco Chip Muffins. It took me only an hour to make them. They get baked in 20-25 minutes. And the preparation time for these muffins is also very less. So it's an easy, simple and less time consuming recipe. 

Preparation Time - 20 minutes

Cooking Time -  25 minutes

Total Time -  45 minutes 

Serves -  4

Ingredients - 

  • Flour / Maida - 3/4 Cup
  • Sugar - 1/2 Cup 
  • Oil - 1/4 Cup
  • Vanilla Essence - 1 teaspoon
  • Baking Soda - 1/2 teaspoon 
  • Baking Powder - 1/2 teaspoon 
  • Banana mashed - 1 cup 
  • Choco Chips -  2 tablespoon + 1 tablespoon for putting on top of the muffins) 

Method -  

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degree centigrade. Line a muffin tray with paper cups. For this firstly, spread oil properly, on the muffin tray. Now put the paper cups. 
  • Let's now make our muffins. Firstly mash the bananas. The mashed bananas should measure up to one cup. 
  • Put the mashed bananas in a bowl. Add oil and sugar.  NOTE -  It would be better if you powder the sugar before using. The sugar will mix with the oil + mashed banana mixture easily. 
  • Mix them together till the sugar gets melt. Now add vanilla essence. 

  • Add flour, baking powder and baking soda. Mix it properly so that no lumps are formed. 
  • Now add choco chips and nicely fold the mixture.  
  • Fill the muffin tray with this mixture. You can fill it to the top. Add some choco chips on the top. 
  • Bake it for 20-25 minutes at 180 degree centigrade. 
  • Your Banana Choco Chip Muffins are ready!

Cheesy Veg Pizza Recipe


Hello all of you. Pizza is one of the most loved Italian dish. Italian bread topped with lots of veggies and  golden white cheese on top..  Wow.. Indeed we all love to eat pizzas. 

Pizza is also an easy thing to make. More over if you have to make it quickly,  you can easily buy a pizza base from the market. This reduces half your work. You are then just left with making the pizza sauce  and finally assembling  the pizza. 

Today I am posting the recipe of CHEESY VEG PIZZA 🍕 
So, I love cheese and I guess most of you also like it. Therefore this pizza is perfect for you. And if you are not an ardent fan of cheese, you can still try this recipe, just reduce the amount of cheese. 

Preparation Time -  10 minutes

Cooking Time - 10 minutes

Total Time -  20 minutes

Serving - Makes 1 pizza


  • 1 Pizza Base  
  • 1 Capsicum chopped 
  • 1 Onion chopped 
  • 1 Tomato chopped 
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic chopped 
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli flakes 
  • 1 big cup grated Mozerella cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper (according to your taste) 
  • 2 Tomatoes chopped 
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic chopped 
  • 1 Green chilli chopped 
  • 1 teaspoon Tomato ketchup 
  • Salt to taste

Method - 
  • Firstly let us make the pizza sauce. Put the tomatoes in a blender and puree them. 
  • Take a pan. Add 1 teaspoon oil. Heat it. Add garlic and green chilli. Saute for a few seconds. 
  • Now add the tomato puree. Cook it till the raw smell of tomatoes go away. 
  • Now add tomato ketchup and salt. 
  • Cook it for 2 more minutes. 
  • Preheat the oven at 200 degree centigrade. 
  • Now let us make the pizza. Take the pizza base. Apply the pizza sauce nicely over the base. Add your chopped vegetables on it. Sprinkle salt and pepper. 
  • Add grated cheese on your pizza. 
  • Put it in the oven and bake it at 200 degree centigrade for 15 minutes or till the cheese gets golden in color. 
  • Your Cheesy Veg Pizza is ready!

VEG PASTA RECIPE (No Bake Recipe )

Veg Pasta Recipe (No Bake Recipe) - 

Hello all of you. I have started this segment called  'No Bake Recipies' on DELIGHTED BAKING. 

Although 'Delighted Baking' is a blog about baking, I will post one 'No Bake' Recipe per week. 

So the first 'No Bake'  Recipe is VEG PASTA. Pasta is an easy snack to make. It gets cooked in a very little time and it tastes so nice. You can make this if there is a party or get together in your home. Or just for eating as a snack for you and your family. 

Preparation Time -  10 minutes

Cooking Time -  10 minutes

Total Time -  20 minutes

Serves - 2

Ingredients -  
  • Boiled pasta -  2 cups
  • Capsicum finely chopped -  1/2 cup
  • Cauliflower finely chopped - 1/2 cup
  • Carrot finely chopped - 1/2 cup
  • Garlic finely chopped - 2 teaspoon 
  • Green chilli finely chopped - 1
  • Tomato cut and pureed - 2 
  • Tomato ketchup - 1 tablespoon
  • Green chilli sauce - 1/2 tablespoon 
  • Salt to taste

Method - 

  1. Take a pan. Add pasta, water and little salt. Boil ut till pasta gets cooked. Strain the pasta and keep it aside. 
  2. Take aother pan. Add 2 teaspoon oil. Let it get a little hot.  Add garlic and green chilli. Saute for a minute. 
  3. Add capsicum, cauliflower and carrot. Saute for 2-3 minute on a low flame. 
  4. Now add tomato puree. Cook it for 3-4 minutes or till the raw smell of tomatoes go away. 
  5. Add tomato ketchup and green chilli sauce. Also add salt. If you want you can also add chilli flakes. 
  6. Cook it for a minute. 
  7. Now add pasta. Mix it properly so that pasta,  veggies and the sauce get mixed together nicely. 
  8. Cook it,  on a low flame,  for 3-4 minutes. 
  9. Your yummy veg pasta is ready.

Stuffed garlic bread recipe

Stuffed Garlic Bread Recipe -  

Hello all of you. I know we all like Dominos stuffed garlic bread.  Whenever we feel like eating it, we either order online or go to the Dominos joint to eat it. But the good thing is even you can make it at home. And it tastes really nice. 

For this we will first make a dough using yeast,  water and sugar. We will firstly foam the yeast, then we will make a nice dough. The dough will rest for some time so that it gets doubled. After it has doubled, we will make our stuffed garlic bread. 

Preparation Time : 80 minutes

Cooking Time : 35 minutes

Total Time : 110 minute

Serves : Makes 1 stuffed garlic bread 

Ingredients -  

  • Water -  1/2 cup
  • Yeast -  3/4 teaspoon 
  • Sugar -  1/2  tablespoon 
  • Maida -  1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Garlic chopped -   1 tablespoon 
  • Italian seasoning - 1 tablespoon
  • Butter -  2 tablespoon 
  • Sweet corn - 1 cup
  • Cheese grated -  1 cup
Method -  

  • Take warm water in a small bowl. Add sugar mix it properly. Now add yeast and mix it. 
  • Allow it to rest for 10 minutes so that it gets foamed. Foam here means active. Once the yeast has foamed you will ser a cloudy and bubbly layer on top of your yeast mixture. 
  • Now seive maida and salt. Add the yeast mixture to it and form a dough. Note -  The dough will be very sticky at this point. 

  • Apply a little oil on this dough and cover it with a plastic wrap or a wet cloth. Allow it to get double in size. This will take approximately 1-2 hours. 
  • Now take your dough. Add a little  more maida and knead it. Knead for atleast five minutes to get a soft dough. 
  • Now take butter in a bowl. Add garlic and one teaspoonful of Italian seasoning to it. 
  • Preheat the oven at 180 degree centigrade. 
  • Now take your dough. Roll it into a nice circle. Apply the butter and garlic mixture on it nicely. Add corns. Put your grated cheese on it. Sprinkle a small amount of Italian seasoning on it. Fold it over and seal the edges. 

See it already looks so nice 😍😉

  • Take a baking tray. Apply oil to it. Dust some amount of maida. Tap the baking tray so that any extra maida gets removed. 
  • Put the stuffed garlic bread on the tray. Using a pizza cutter or a knife cut it  into sticks. Note :  Do not separate the sticks. 
  • Put some oil on the stuffed garlic bread. Sprinkle italian seasoing on it. 
  • Bake it for 10 minutes at 180 degree centigrade. 
  • Your homemade stuffed garlic bread is ready. Bon appetite!

Nan Khatai

Nan Khatai -  

Nan Khatai is an Indian Cookie cum biscuit. They are little crunchy and taste  so nice. They get ready in a few minutes and is thus an easy recipe to make.  You can keep  them in an air tight container and can have them along with tea or just when you feel hungry.

Preparation Time - 20 minutes

Cooking Time -  15 minutes

Total Time -  35 minutes

Serves -  10 nan khatai

Ingredients - 

  • Maida (Flour)  -  1/2 cup
  • Makai ka aata (Maize Flour)  -   6 tablespoon
  • Sooji (Semolina) -  2 tablespoon
  • Sugar -  1/2 cup
  • Ghee (Clarified Butter)  -  1/2 cup
Method -  

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degree centigrade. 
  • Take ghee and sugar in a bowl. Mix them properly till the sugar gets properly dissolved in the ghee. You can either mix them using a hand mixer or simply with a spatula. 
  • Seive maida,  makai ka aata and sooji. 
  • Add this seived mixture into the wet mixture ( ghee and sugar). 
  • Mix them properly till it forms a dough. 
  • Make small balls from the dough 
  • Press these balls a little. Make a small cut on their top using a knife.
  • Put these on a greased baking tray. 
  • Bake them for approximately 15  minutes at 180 degree centigrade. 
  • After they have baked, keep them aside till they get cooled properly. When you will take them out,  they might be a little soft in texture. Allow them to cool for a few minutes and you will get the proper original taste.

Baked Veg Spring Roll Recipe

Baked Veg Spring Roll Recipe : 

Spring Rolls are my favourite snack. Whenever I go out,  I always look forward to eat them. Yesterday I tried making veg spring roll at home and they turn out so well. That's why, I thought, I should share this recipe on the blog. 

I made these spring roll using spring roll sheets. You can easily buy them from the market or can buy them online. You can get them on Amazon under the name Real Thai Rice Paper. Just soak them in water for a few seconds to make them soft and you can then start making your tasty spring rolls. 

Preparation Time : 10 minutes

Cooking Time : 30 minutes

Total Time : 40 minutes

Serves : 10-12

Ingredients : 
  • Spring roll sheets -  10
  • Shredded carrots -  1 small cup
  • 1 small capsicum, thinly sliced
  • Mushrooms, finely chopped - 1 small cup 
  • Shredded cabbage -  1 small cup
  • Nutrella granules -  1 small cup
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chilli sauce 
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder 
  • Chopped garlic - 1 tablespoon
  • Oil  - 1 tablespoon
 Method :

  • Soak nutrella granules in water for about 10 minutes. 
  • Take a pan. Add oil and heat it. Add garlic. Saute them for 5-6 seconds. 
  • Now add capsicum, carrots, cabbage and mushrooms. 
  • Saute them for around five minutes. 
  • Add nutrella. Remember to squeeze out water, before adding nutrella granules. 
  • Add salt, pepper, soya sauce and green chilli sauce. 
  • Saute for a minute more. 
  • Spread out your filling on a plate so that it gets cooled down
  • Now we have to prepare a sealing paste. Mix 1 tablespoon of maida/cornflour and 1/2 tablespoon of water to make a thick paste. 
  • Now let's make our spring rolls. Preheat your oven to 200 degree centigrade. 
  • Take a spring roll sheet. Put a small amount of filling on it. Roll it from one side. Now  apply the sealing paste on the other two ends of the spring roll sheets and seal them. Put a small amount of sealing  paste on the other end. And finally seal your spring roll. 
  • Make the rest of the spring rolls similarly. 
  • Take a baking tray. Put a butter paper on it. Gently  place your spring rolls on it. Brush them with a little oil. This will ensure that they get baked properly and will also give them a nice color. 
  • Bake them in the oven for about 10 minutes at 200 degree centigrade. 

 Your tasty baked veg spring rolls are ready. Eat them hot along with tomato ketchup or any of your  preferred sauce. Bon appetite!

Mini Veg Pizza Recipe

( A great snack for in house parties.  It is also a nice and easy evening snack.) 

Hello all of you.  So here is my mini veg pizza recipe. Mini pizzas are the miniature form of our well known pizza. They make a great evening snack as well as are a good option for parties.  

I have made these mini pizzas from the scratch. I mean to say i have made everything - be it the pizza sauce or the pizza base,  at home. So they are healthy as well. 

Preparation Time -  80 minutes

Cooking Time -  20 minutes 

Total Time -  100 minutes 

Serves -  Approx 8 mini pizzas


# For the pizza base -  
  • 1 cup maida
  • 1/2  cup warm water
  • 1/2 tablespoon
  • 3/4 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon oil
# For the pizza sauce -

# For the toppings - 
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 1 capsicum chopped
  • 4-5 mushrooms sliced
  • Grated mozzarella cheese,  as required 
  • Italian seasoning (according to taste) 
Method - 

# Pizza Base - 
  • Take a small bowl.  Add sugar and yeast in it. 
  • Now add warm water. Remember water should be lukewarm. 
  • Mix this with a spoon so that the yeast get dissolve properly. 
  • Leave this for around 5-10 minutes. 
  • Now the yeast would have become frothy
  • In a bowl,  take the maida and salt. Add the yeast mixture to it. 
  • Mix it properly.  At this point,  the dough will be sticky. 
  • Apply oil to it. 
  • Keep it for 1 hour. 
  • The dough will get double in size. 
#  Pizza Sauce  -  Homemade Pizza Sauce Recipe

#  Making the pizza -  

  • Preheat the oven at 180 degree centigrade 
  • Take a small amount of dough. 
  • Flatten it with your hand 
  • Prick it at some points using a fork. 
  • Apply your homemade pizza sauce on it. 
  • Top with the veggies. 
  • Spread cheese on it. 
  • Sprinkle Italian seasoning on it. 
  • Bake it at 180 degree centigrade for 10 - 12 minutes. 
  • Your homemade mini veg pizzas are ready!

Homemade Pizza Sauce Recipe

Homemade Pizza Sauce Recipe - 

Hello of you. I will post  'Veg pizza'  as my first recipe on this blog. That's why i thought of creating a separate post for Homemade Pizza Sauce Recipe.  

Pizza Sauce is very easy to make and it gets cooked in a short span of time. Below is a simple recipe of a tasty homemade pizza sauce. 






  • 4 tomatoes 
  • 3-4 garlic cloves (finely chopped) 
  • 1 green chilli (finely chopped) 
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning. (Italian Seasoning is a  mixture of Italian herbs like oregano,  rosemary,  chilli flakes etc. You can get this easily at any bakery) 
  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon tomato ketchup 
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder 


  • Rinse and chop tomatoes. 
  • Put them in a blender and  puree them. 
  • Now take a small pan. Put oil in it. Heat the oil.  Add the chopped garlic and green chilli. Saute on a low flame for around 10 seconds. 
  • Now add your puree. Saute for 3-4 minutes on a low flame or till the tomatoes get cooked. 
  • Now add salt,  red chilli powder, italian seasoning and tomato ketchup. 
  • Saute for 1-2 minutes on a low flame. 
  • Your homemade pizza sauce is ready!

Hello all of you.  Baking, as any other form of cooking, requires certain tools and equipments. I have written this post to summarise about the most basic baking tools and equipments. 

1. Cake Tins : 

Of course,  cakes are the most common baking recipe which any beginner wishes to try. Therefore cake tins are the most essential equipment a baker should have. Cake tins come in different shapes and sizes -  The most common shapes are square,  circle and heart.  The cake tins come in different sizes as well -  6 inch,  8 inch and even bigger. 

You can either buy an aluminium cake tin or a nonstick cake tin. If you buy an aluminum cake tin,  you will have to grease the cake tin before putting the cake batter into it; or will have to put a butter paper. Whereas a nonstick cake tin doesn't require any such preparation. You can directly put the cake batter into it. 

You may also need a muffin try if you wish to make muffins or cupcakes.  Again you can either buy an aluminum muffin tray or a nonstick muffin tray.

2. Borosil bowls : 

Borosil bowls are needed for making tasty pasta or a baked veg. Remember NEVER BAKE A CAKE IN A BOROSIL BOWL.  Your cake would not bake in a Borosil bowl. Borosil bowls are suitable for recipies like baked veg.

Borosil bowls also come in different shapes and sizes. The most common shape are round,  square and rectangle. You can buy it according to the size of your oven and the shape you prefer.

3. Baking Tray :

Most probably you will get this baking tray along with the OTG you buy.  The tray can be used for making cookies,  pizzas,  biscuits,  buns etc.

Also while making stuff like paneer tikka and kababs you can place this tray under the wire rack on which you will place your paneer tikkas. This will ensure that your oven does not get dirty as the marinate will fall while grilling the tikkas.

4. Spatula and brush :

Frankly you can continue with your baking without the spatula and brush.  You can use your very own spoons for folding the cake batter. But having spatula and brush makes baking easier and more convenient.

5. Hand mixer :

This is the MOST IMPORTANT THING.  Simply because it will mix your cake batter or will wisk your eggs very nicely. It comes with two types of attachments.  One is used for mixing sugar, butter or eggs. Another one is used for kneading dough.

6. Digital weighing scale :
It helps you to measure the ingredients accurately. You can measure your ingredients in different units.

So this is it. This is a short list of the most essential baking equipments. You can buy these stuffs from the market or online.
