VEG MANCHURIAN RECIPE ( NO BAKE RECIPE)

Veg Manchurian Recipe ( No Bake Recipe) 







Hello everyone. So it's time for another NO BAKE RECIPE.  Veg Manchurian is a common Chinese Dish. It consists of fried vegetable balls soaked in a nice saucy gravy. It can be eaten along with Veg Chowmein,  Veg Fried Rice or simply Roti / Nan. 







Preparation  Time -  10 minutes

Cooking Time - 20 minutes

Total Time - 30 minutes

Serves - 4

Ingredients :

For the manchurian balls :
  • 1 cup chopped capsicum 
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped french beans
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chopped green chilli
  • Maida - 2 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Water ( Add little by little. It should be enough for making the balls)
For the gravy :

  • 1/2 capsicum chopped into small cubes
  • 1 onion chopped into small cubes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1 teaspoon green chilli
  • 1 teaspoon soya sauce
  • 1 teaspoon green chilli sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon chilli flakes (optional) 
  • Black pepper ( according to your taste) 
  • 1/2 teaspoon Water 
  • 1 teaspoon Cornflour 

Method :

  • Take all the ingredients for the manchurian balls and mix it nicely. Take a small amount of this mixture, roll it into a ball.  Heat oil for frying. Make more such balls from this mixture. Fry these balls till they look nice and crisp. 
  • Take a pan. Add 1 tablespoon oil. Heat it. Add garlic and green chilli. Saute for a few seconds. Now add the onions and capsicum. Saute for 2-3  minutes. Now add soya sauce,  green chilli sauce, vinegar, salt, black pepper. Also add 1 cup of water. 
  • Boil it on high flame nicely. Now mix 1 teaspoon of cornflour and 1/2 teaspoon of water. Add this to the gravy. 
  • Now reduce the flame. Slowly the gravy will get reduced. Nkw add the  manchurian balls. 
  • Cook it on low flame for 2-3 minutes. 
  • Your Veg Manchurian is ready!
